It’s said that the heavens split in two as great fires descended from the sky, and then stopped, looming silently amid the heavens. Still to this day, no one knows what they were, or why they came. Before anything could have been learned, the Tolterra took action.
As the Arrivals breached the clouds, the mountains of Kalea rose to their feet in retaliation and the earth opened up to swallow them whole. The first of the Arrivals came crashing to the earth once the Tolterra attacked, devastating a city below. Soon after, more Arrivals descended and Kalea’s protectors rose up in full force. The Tolterra unleashed their wrath upon them, and fire rained from the sky. But the Arrivals struck back and a fierce war broke out between the planet and its visitors. For every year of peace and blessings the people of Kalea had enjoyed, they received a thousand curses in the time that followed. This was the beginning of the the Battle Between Earth and Sky, and the end of Kalea’s paradise.
