It is said that long, long ago, when all the world was still joined as one, Kalea’s heart shone with a brilliant light. Bursting forth from within her core, Kalea’s light gave birth to bountiful life all across her surface. In time many great civilizations rose up in its radiance, drawing strength from the energy Kalea provided. The people of Kalea had all that they could ever need, and their prosperity was shared across the world.
But the people of these cities were not Kalea’s only children. Kalea’s protectors, the Tolterra, shared the land with the people, ever roaming and keeping watch over the land. The Tolterra were wondrous creatures, for they were born of the same light that resided in Kalea’s core. They did not want for food nor rest, they sustained themselves only off Kalea’s nurturing radiance. Some stood as tall as mountains, others small as stones--but all of them were a part of her, connected to Kalea’s very will.
For countless ages the people lived in peace with the Tolterra, and in turn with Kalea as well. Their great cities rose and an era of peace and prosperity like none before was achieved. Kalea was akin to Paradise.
It was in this time that the Arrivals came.
