about.
summer has been interested in art all her life, but started getting serious about it
in her sophomore year of highschool. this has resulted in an exploration of media (oil pastel,
watercolor, india ink, acrylic paint, collage...), themes (feminity, the female body, growing
up, emotional trauma...), and a copious amount of photoshop paired with her canon eos digital
rebel xt.
she also dabbles in writing from time to time and has included a selection of some of
her more recent examples of poetry.

on that note, summer is thoroughly enjoying her time here at hampshire college and
couldn't imagine herself anywhere else at the moment. she should really get to work on those
essays now, though.
