Lonesome Heart

By Ramon Kentrell Alexander Lee

Through effort and struggle its still alone
Crying, aching, screaming for companionship
The arrow unwanted solitude pierces my feeble heart.
The loins of this vessel ache as if they’re being ripped away
Its heart being squeezed dry of all its fluids

Shalt she understand his pain without her?
Will she ever know his abominable suffering?
Does she know of this constant tearing flesh?
Could she imagine how archaic he is without a flash of her presence?
His intelligence streaks for mercy as it falls to death
His cried –away eyes meet the very moment of their fatal doom
His body begins to streak louder in fatal agony
His soul itself is left without the least bit of light
Thus, he knows that the good, the bad, and life itself is over.
