David Reinhart

The main protagonist of GH, David is an 18 year old senior in high school. Once a happy and enthusiastic kid, when David was 15 he witnessed a tragic event which had drastically changed his life. The strange thing is, no one else seems to remember that it had happened, which has led David to doubt some of his sanity. During the past 3 years, David has lost much interest in many of the things he once enjoyed, and would probably become a total recluse if it wasn't for the persistance of his two friends, Abigale and Patrick, who, despite his attitude, have stuck by him. He can come off as quite the apathetic stick-in-the-mud and often jumps into things without completely thinking it through, usually in a desperate search for answers. His father is an overworked businessman while his mother works in retail

Abigale "Gale" White: An independent and strong-willed 17 year old with a big heart. Gale met David and Pat shortly after moving to the town in 3rd grade. Her strong personality had proven herself worthy of hanging out with the boys and the three have been a trio ever since. Gale is an only child, living with her father who has been a police officer since as long as Gale can remember. An aspiring art student, she has big dreams of becoming a renowned artist like her mother, who died of cancer when Gale was still young. Gale proclaimed herself as David's girlfriend when they were little, and since then it has been sort of a half long-running joke/ half actuality. Their relationship is complicated.
